  They are not big, but they have a nice eclectic approach and good gaps within their selection. The prices are fair for a nursery in a city. The help was outstanding. Several times, I who have tested the patience of nuns, was walked through a number of my questions.

  Rating a business that sells plants 1 star is absurd. To the moron who couldn't find a park and enjoys a suspicious relationship with a competing business; get a grip. EVERY business in Brisbane is rubbish to park at. To the high flying types impatient with the "slow, unprofessional service"; you're buying plants, on a weekend, from staff who by definition are not doctors or lawyers. There's soul music playing, there's alternative artwork on the wall. Were you expecting a three piece suit? Mappins is, from my experiences there, a personally run local business that's as much a beautiful living gallery as it is a nursery. We've spent thousands there over the last year and never once have I found this NURSERY (it's not a fast food restaurant you impatient jackasses) to be anything but a delight to quite literally just BE in and yes, to purchase things from. Long may it thrive so we might enjoy not just shopping there, but it's very existence.

  Gorgeous rainforest jungle. I felt like Indiana Jones walking through the indoor nursery. Good aquarium fish available out back. They do amazing terrarium workshops here, bring a group of friends and get creative with dirt, rocks and moss!

  I love this place. Such a quirky, cool place to visit in west end. I have been to a fair few of the nursery’s in Brisbane and so far Mappins has the nicest selection of cactuses and reasonably priced plants in Brisbane

  It’s an awesome looking place. A great selection of plants. My major negative was the lack of customer service. Nobody asked if I was okay despite being there for over half an hour. And the person at the counter seemed disinterested. Lastly, I had an awkward large box to carry with my two year old in tow with two umbrellas and heavy rain. Maybe I’m asking too much here but as I was parked just in front of the store, it would have been nice for an offer of help.
